When You Learn To Trust Yourself Again
There are experiences that can shake the confidence you once had in your own judgment. A relationship, a disappointment, a betrayal, or a choice that did not turn out the way you hoped, can leave you questioning yourself. You may replay the past and wonder what you should have seen or what you could have done differently. But losing your footing for a moment does not mean you have lost your way. Sometimes the path back begins by learning to trust the person within you again.
The Wisdom You Gained Along The Way
Trusting yourself does not mean believing you will never make another mistake. It means knowing that whatever happens, you are capable of listening, learning, adjusting and moving forward. Every experience leaves something behind, a lesson, a boundary, a deeper understanding of yourself. What once felt like evidence that you could not trust your judgment may eventually become the very experience that strengthens it.
You Are Not The Person You Were Before
Growth Changes the way we see things. Looking back, you carry knowledge and wisdom that you did not have while you were living through that moment. It is easy to judge an earlier version of yourself using wisdom that came afterward. Offer that version of you some grace. You were navigating a river with what you knew at the time. But yet somehow, it brought you here.
The Stone Becomes Smooth
A river stone is not shaped in a single moment. Water moves around it again and again, softening its rough edges without taking away its strength. We are shaped much the same way. The experiences that once felt sharp can become part of our wisdom. They do not have to define us, but they can refine us.
