About our content

River Watch articles and any videos explain scam tactics, not individuals. We do not name, identify, or accuse private people, and we ask everyone never to contact or confront anyone they suspect. Mentions of companies, platforms, or agencies are for identification and commentary only and imply no endorsement.

Privacy — what we collect, and what we don’t

This site uses no advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or third-party cookies. A single, strictly-necessary session cookie is used only to protect the “Your Story” form against forgery. If you submit a story, we store what you write plus a one-way hashed value (never your raw IP) to prevent abuse.

Your Story — how submissions are used

Submissions go to Letty for review. Nothing is published without your explicit consent, and anything published is anonymized. Please don’t include real names, contact details, account numbers, or other private information — submissions are screened and any that name individuals are not published. We keep submissions only as long as needed to respond and moderate, and delete them on request: email contact@theriverwithin.net.

If anything here is inaccurate, or you believe you’ve been unfairly referenced, contact contact@theriverwithin.net. We review promptly and will correct, append a clarification, or remove content where warranted.

Limitation of liability
